Subscription Limits
AttributionHub subscriptions are usage-based, helping you scale affordably as your traffic grows. This guide explains how subscription limits work — including domain usage, session quotas, and API request caps.
Domain Usage
Each AttributionHub subscription is tied to a single primary domain. This includes:
- Primary domain tracking (e.g., example.com)
- All subdomains under that domain (e.g., blog.example.com, app.example.com, pages.example.com)
If you need to track additional, unrelated domains (like anotherbrand.com), a separate subscription is required. You can manage multiple subscriptions under the same account.
Need to add another domain?
Reach out to your account representative to discuss options.
Monthly Quotas
Each AttributionHub subscription includes monthly usage caps for both tracked sessions and API requests.
Monthly Session Limits
A session represents a single visit to your website by a unique user. AttributionHub tracks key metadata and events during the session — including landing page, UTM data, and conversions (if applicable).
Each session tracked counts toward your monthly session quota, regardless of whether a conversion occurs.
Monthly API Request Limits
Your plan also includes a cap on monthly API requests. Each request to our backend counts as one, whether it comes from:
- Custom API applications you’ve built to access AttributionHub data
- Automated integrations like our native data connectors (e.g., syncing to a CRM or BI tool)
What happens if I exceed my monthly quota?
Depending on the quota exceeded, tracking or data syncing may pause. You can upgrade your subscription at any time to increase limits — changes take effect immediately upon upgrade.
If You Exceed the Session Quota:
- The tracking script will stop logging new sessions
- A 429 Too Many Requests response will be returned instead of tracking data
If You Exceed the API Request Quota:
- All API calls to AttributionHub will return a 429 Too Many Requests error
- Automated data syncing will pause until the quota resets or an upgrade is applied
Pacing & Upgrade Alerts
You’ll receive proactive alerts when:
- You’re nearing your monthly session limit
- You’re close to hitting your API request quota
These alerts give your team time to upgrade before tracking or integrations are impacted.
